Our fully qualified staff will give instruction on how to use equipment prior to your launch into the sea, kit you up and supervise you at all times as you master the waves.
If you would like to venture a little further along the coast our guided tours are great for groups and allow you to take in more on the Sussex coastline. And if you are looking for expert tuition this can be provided for individuals or groups upon request to the highest level.
Our beachfront shop is stocked full of watersports equipment and accessories. We also have changing rooms, secure lockers and showers plus toilet facilities.
All Brighton Watersports staff are fully trained and carry all required qualifications for providing watersport activities and tuition to the highest standard.
We provide all necessary equipment, bouyancy aids, wetsuits and training for all watersport activities but it is essential that all participents can swim.

You will be given advice and tuition on all activities so experience isn't essential (as long as everybody can swim)
closeUnder the guidance of an expert coach you will learn the necessary skills required to safely begin sea kayaking. Learn how to enter and exit your boat on land and at sea, forward and reverse paddling, sweep (turning) strokes, support strokes and rescue techniques.
If you get a taste for paddling, we offer recognised kayak courses to gain a variety of certificates. Some tuition sessions will be held at a local pool or sheltered harbour. You will learn the Eskimo rescue and techniques required to perform a successful Eskimo roll aswell as many other advanced kayaking skills.
